What a year! 2025 was a year of real momentum and meaningful progress for Darogan for an array of reasons; here are our highlights:
🌱 A growing team:
At the start of 2025, we welcomed two new permanent members of staff, with Mared Jones joining as Marketing Manager down in Cardiff, and Daniel Maclean as Senior Talent Consultant up in Denbighshire. Both of them brought fresh expertise, energy, and a strong commitment to Darogan’s mission, strengthening the team from the outset.
We were also delighted to welcome Owen back for his second summer internship with us, along with Elen – we can’t think of a better duo to have supported us with our projects that summer!
🏔️ Establishing ourselves in North Wales:
2025 also marked an important step in expanding our footprint across Wales. With staff now based in North Wales and our virtual tenancy at M-SParc on Ynys Môn, we took an important step towards extending our reach and impact across Wales.
💅 A new brand and website:
Last year also saw a major refresh of the Darogan brand, alongside the launch of our new website. The response has been hugely positive – from kind words about the new look to the overwhelming popularity of our Mari Lwyd tote bags at careers fairs. The new site delivers a much slicker user experience, including personalised dashboards that make it easier than ever to engage with the platform. A big thanks to Pobl Tech for your support!
🎓 Introducing GradCon Cymru:
Throughout 2025, we delivered a wide programme of events to support students and graduates in finding opportunities in Wales, including our first sector-specific event focused on green careers.
However, the standout moment of the year simply had to be GradCon Cymru. Hosted at DEPOT in Cardiff, the event welcomed 500 students and graduates, 50 employers, and 7 guest speakers – and firmly established itself as a flagship moment in the Darogan calendar.
(And yes, we can confirm that GradCon Cymru will be returning in a big way in 2026!)
💼 A growing list of employers on the platform:
Over the year, we more than quadrupled the number of employers advertising through the Darogan platform. This growth translated directly into more opportunities for candidates and a stronger, more valuable service overall. We were particularly proud to welcome partners such as Admiral Group Plc, Natural Resources Wales, Companies House and Transport for Wales, amongst many others. Diolch am ymuno!
2025 was our strongest year to date – but 2026 is already shaping up to be even bigger. Watch this space!
