Company Description

About Fenergy Glass

Fenergy Glass Ltd is an established and growing window and door installation company specialising in high-quality, energy-efficient uPVC and aluminium products. Operating across the commercial and private sectors, we deliver professional installation services to main contractors, housing associations, developers and private residential customers.

We are also actively involved in government-funded and other decarbonisation and energy-efficiency schemes, supporting the improvement of existing housing stock through the installation of high-performance windows and doors.

As we continue to grow, we are looking to embrace new technology, artificial intelligence (AI) and smarter ways of working to improve efficiency across our business. We are seeking an enthusiastic, forward-thinking graduate to join our team and help drive these improvements.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate with a genuine interest in artificial intelligence, digital technology and business innovation. Working closely with the Directors and management team, you will help identify opportunities to introduce AI-powered solutions, streamline processes and improve the way our business operates.

What You Will Do

  • Work with different departments to understand challenges and recommend practical improvements
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive administrative and operational tasks
  • Explore ways to improve communication and information sharing between office staff, contracts managers and site teams

Building and improving systems

  • Assist with developing AI-supported systems for project management, reporting and document production
  • Help improve existing systems for procurement, scheduling, surveying and project administration
  • Support the development of digital dashboards, performance reports and management information
  • Assist with integrating AI and automation into existing software and business processes

Adoption and responsible use

  • Help ensure AI systems are introduced responsibly, with appropriate consideration for data protection and information security

What We Offer

  • Location: Langstone, Newport, with hybrid working available
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with flexible working hours
  • Contract length: 6-month graduate placement
  • Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Pension: Workplace pension scheme
  • An opportunity to help shape the future of technology within an established and growing business
  • Direct involvement with the Directors and senior management team
  • Hands-on experience implementing AI and digital improvements in a real business environment
  • Opportunities for professional development and further training
  • The chance to develop the position as the company’s digital and AI capabilities expand
  • A supportive team environment where new ideas and innovation are encouraged

Why Join Fenergy?

This is not a traditional graduate role where you will simply follow established processes. We want someone who will challenge how things are currently done, bring fresh ideas and help us discover better, smarter and more efficient ways of working.

You will have the opportunity to make a genuine difference to the business and develop your career alongside our continued growth.
