AI Adoption Business Advisor

Company Description

The postholder will play an integral part of the AI Awareness & Adoption Programme, supporting the project lead, and delivering on engaging activities to raise awareness, providing support and advice to SMEs around the adoption of AI in SE Wales.

· Providing 1:1 advice, including specific advice, guidance, and recommendations to SMEs on their AI needs

· Showcasing and raising awareness of AI and its capabilities

· Promoting the adoption of AI to improve business profitability, sustainability and efficiencies in start-up and existing businesses.

· Delivering events, including webinars, workshops and networking sessions..

The Responsibilities

1. Provide specific advice in areas such as AI adoption that enable business growth.

2. Provide advisory support through a diverse range of methods digitally and face to face. i.e. 1:1 support, 1 to many support, webinars, workshops and participate in other activities that attract and engage SMEs.

3. Coordinate and manage regional networking sessions to amplify interest in the emerging technologies and showcase its successful adoption

4. Create and develop AI related digital content to capture the imagine, to inspire and to showcase its adoption.

5. Support the delivery of an AI Accelerator, participating in and supporting the cohort members

6. Ensure SMEs Pan-Wales are delivered content and advice that is is responsive to emerging technologies and business needs.

7. Work with and support the Project Lead to develop new and innovative content and activities, propose continuous improvements, and ensure success of overall project.

General Duties

1. Take independent decisions, within the agreed framework agreed by the Project Lead and managing / supporting their work when they are absent.

2. Plan, prioritise and organise own work to achieve agreed objectives.

3. Solving day to day problems as they arise, while recognising when a problem should be referred to others.

4. Adopting a positive approach to teamwork, always looking for opportunities to act as an Ambassador for M-SParc
